This will be Sydney's second season as the JV2 Gold Assistant Coach. She brings over 6 years of coaching experience in a variety of roles. She began coaching immediately following her juniors career as the Freshman Head Coach at her alma mater. She continued to play for the University of the Pacific women's volleyball club team. After graduating with her B.S. in Speech Language Pathology, she remained active in competitive indoor and grass adult leagues where she was able to gain more knowledge and experience in her personal goal of being a well rounded player. She currently coaches for the Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy at the 14u level, most recently the 14-2 Regional team 2 years in a row and 13-1 National team prior.

Her goals are to instill confidence in her players and promote a growth mindset. She puts an emphasis on positive attitude and mental discipline in efforts to develop life skills that go beyond volleyball.

Sydney loves to spend time with her fiance and 2 dogs. She volunteers with Oregon Dog Rescue's puppy foster program and her hobbies include cooking, gardening and traveling.
