The Alumni Association is launching a brand new campaign aimed at re-engaging our younger alumni and raising money for the Alumni Association Scholarship!
HISTORY OF THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Central Catholic Alumni Association Scholarship has been around for over 40 years, and was first awarded in the early 1980s. At that time, proceeds from alumni fundraisers and events were used to help fund awards of various amounts that were given to a handful of incoming freshmen. It wasn’t until 20 years later, in 2004, that the decision was made to endow this scholarship so that it could continue to fund students’ tuition in perpetuity. Using remaining funds raised by the Alumni Association, the Central Catholic Alumni Association Scholarship was created, making it an official endowed fund with the goal of providing scholarships to incoming freshmen.
To date, this scholarship has been awarded to 115 students.
Help us grow the impact
Our goal with this campaign is to reengage Central Catholic alumni, grow the scholarship fund, and help build the legacy for future Rams, so they can enjoy the same education and experiences that we did as students.
Over the course of the next year we will be sharing stories about the impact of Central Catholic, creating more opportunities to engage with your fellow alumni, and encouraging you and your classmates to give back.
Our goal is for 500 alumni to make a donation to this scholarship over the next 12 months. Can you help us reach this goal?
EVERY GIFT MATTERS
We hope to grow the fund with contributions of all amounts from alums like you! With its growth, we can help more future Rams become the best version of themselves. You don't have to give a lot to make a huge difference. Your $20 or even $5 donation will make an impact on our future Rams.
Throughout this campaign, there will be several matches and class challenges to help leverage your class giving and and increase the impact of your gift. Join us and your class today in impacting the lives of future students, growing diversity, and building knowledge, faith, and character.
