Ben Bui
Head Men's Tennis Coach
Central Catholic is excited to welcome Ben Bui as the new Head Coach of the Men's Tennis program.
Ben Bui is a tennis professional who has competed and contributed to tennis since 2009. He learned to play tennis at the St. John's Racquet Center in 2009 and has volunteered and worked at Portland Tennis and Education until 2020. Actively stringing for the ATP and WTA Tour, Ben has strung over 1000 racquets for players like Tommy Paul and Emma Raducanu. In addition to his technical proficiency, Ben oversaw operations and programming and demonstrated organizational and leadership skills at St. John’s Racquet Center from 2017 to 2020. As a tennis teaching professional, Ben has showcased a passion for cultivating tennis skills at all levels. He has introduced innovative training programs, creating an environment where tennis enthusiasts of various skill levels could thrive. He is passionate about introducing others to tennis and helping them develop a love for the sport and lifelong learning. Still active as a player, he competes with his friends in local tournaments and leagues on the weekends. Outside of tennis, he is a coffee enthusiast and biomedical researcher who avidly supports the Tottenham Hotspurs.
