Ashleigh Kayser
Women's Head Tennis Coach
Central Catholic is excited to welcome Ashleigh Kayser as the new Head Coach of the Women’s Tennis program.
Coach Kayser was Central Catholic’s Assistant coach last year, is a lifelong athlete, and a longtime teacher and coach. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree at Santa Clara University, she taught theology at Valley Catholic. During her tenure there, she completed her Masters in Education at the University of Portland. In 1998, she and her husband relocated to the East Coast where she taught theology and coached Varsity Women’s Basketball at Elizabeth Seton High School in Maryland.
The Kaysers returned to Portland in 2006 and Ashleigh became a certified Personal Trainer, taught general strength and conditioning, indoor cycling, and barre classes. She also trained adult and youth athletes specializing in tennis, soccer, and volleyball performance.
Ashleigh is excited to take on the Head Coach position for the Ram’s Women’s Tennis team with the goal of building a solid tennis program, grounded in a culture of camaraderie, confidence, cooperation, and competition for her players.
