Food, Coat, Blanket, and Penny Drive

Food, Coat, Blanket, and Penny Drive
Dear Central Catholic Community,

Our annual Food, Coat, Blanket, and Penny Drive will begin with Grandparent’s Day On Thursday, November 1, 2018. On Grandparent’s Day, the class who collects the most money will be awarded extra points towards their overall class totals for the 2018 FCBP Drive. Loose change, cash, and checks (made payable to Central Catholic) are acceptable forms of donation for Grandparent’s Day. Please make sure all monetary donations are delivered to the appropriate class money bin that will be located at our Grandparent’s Day entrance.

On Tuesday, November 13, 2018 (the day after our Veteran’s Day Holiday), the in-kind donation challenge will begin. This year's donation schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, November 13 - Food (non-perishable, canned/packaged goods) please avoid donating outdated cans/goods

Wednesday, November 14 - Coats (heavy, long-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, rain jackets, etc. are all acceptable forms of coat donations)

Thursday, November 15 - Blankets

Friday, November 16 - Food (non-perishable, canned/packaged goods) please avoid donating outdated cans/goods

*We will also use November 16 as the final “catch all” for any items that missed their appropriate donation days.

Cash donations can be delivered throughout our drive week. Class money bins will be located near the main office throughout the week. Our donations from this year’s drive will be supporting St. Andre Bessette Parish and St. Vincent de Paul, Portland Council.

We look forward to receiving your donations and hope to have another successful drive! Thank you for your support.
