Bio:
I was born in Portland Oregon and attended and graduated from West Linn High School in 1993. I moved to and lived in Southern California for 10 years with my husband Jason where we had our daughters, Jayla and Che. We moved back to Oregon in 2005 and I attended Pacific University and graduated in 2009 with a BA in Media, minoring in Sociology.

I worked for the City of Hillsboro after graduation and while doing so directed and produced my first feature documentary, Black Girl In Suburbia which started and sparked my journey/career in DEI work. In 2015, I became the first Black woman to work at Jesuit High School as Director of Diversity Equity and Inclusion and remained in that position until 2021.
