Bio:
My passion for teaching social studies is rooted in my previous career in the world of government and politics. Most recently, I worked part time on a few U.S. Senate campaigns; before that, I served for several years as U.S. Senator Ron Wyden’s Deputy State Director.
Although I spent most of my school years in the New Orleans area, I am a native Oregonian. And while I've always considered Oregon to be my home, New Orleans was a fascinating place to grow up, especially for someone interested in politics.
Aside from exploring our state, in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, biking, cooking, and tackling home improvement projects.
Memberships:
Board Member, Oregon Council for Social Studies
