Said Guermali

Central Catholic is excited to welcome Said Guermali as the new Head Coach of the Men's Distance Running programs!
Coach Guermali brings a wealth of competitive running knowledge from his time as an elite Division I runner at the powerhouse programs from the University of Portland and Gonzaga University. He was a West Coast Conference All-Academic Team honoree and a team captain. He was the Philippines National Champion in the 1500 meters, and he still competes pos-collegiately.
Coach Guermali earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Portland and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. He couldn't be more excited about the prospect of contributing to the storied tradition and history of a Central Catholic Men's Distance program that has produced 11 Oregon State Championships and some of the greatest runners in our state's history.
