Bio:
Ellie was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Central Catholic in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Portland State University in Social Sciences & Women’s Studies. She began her professional career working in college admission counseling. From there she decided to go back to school and received her Masters of Education in School Counseling from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education. As a school counselor, Ellie works to center student voice in programming and support services. She aims to create a safe and welcoming space where students can openly discuss their concerns, helping them build resilience and make informed decisions. When not at work, Ellie can often be found hiking, biking, skiing, and camping in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, Rick, and black lab, Dante.
