Presidential Character in Leadership Academy

Visiting our partner grade schools is a truly great way to give back to my community and pass on important leadership skills to the next generation of high school students. These visits have also helped me learn about the impact of leadership and outreach on younger students. I have always had so much fun working with the middle schools, and I really hope you will too!

The Presidential Character in Leadership Academy (PCLA) is a four-year enrichment program that will develop integrity, courage, resilience, and faith in students who desire to impact the Central Catholic High School community and beyond. Academy scholars will be given the tools to live a deliberate and intentional life. They will graduate with the skills to lead and serve something bigger than themselves. They will improve the Central Catholic culture through their willingness and desire to create and maintain a positive service driven community.

Outcomes of the Presidential Character in Leadership Academy: 
• This four-year enrichment program will provide scholars with tools to live a deliberate and intentional life.
• Develop the ability to lead positively and collaborate with their peers.
• Learn healthy habits to ensure physical, emotional, social, and spiritual balance.
• Understand social issues within our community and beyond.
• Develop time management skills required of today’s teens.
• Expand decision-making skills while considering moral and ethical questions.
