Character Matters Writing Contest

The Central Catholic High School English department recently held its inaugural writing contest: "Character Matters." This contest focuses on Central Catholic's four character virtues for the 2019-2020 school year: faith, responsibility, honesty, and courage.

Contest judging is divided into two groups: grades 5-6 and grades 7-8. Within these divisions, students may submit entries for any of three writing types: essays, short stories, or poetry. Submissions for this year were accepted from February 3 through March 13, 2020.
