BREADCRUMB

Lenten Offerings

Lent is the Liturgical Season of preparation for the most sacred commemoration in our Christian faith: Jesus Christ’s Resurrection at Easter. Beginning with Ash Wednesday and ending with Holy Thursday, Lent lasts for 40 days.

This year, Lent in the Western Catholic Church is March 5 - April 17. Catholics and other Christians mark this time of renewal and return to God with three Lenten pillars: Prayer; Fasting; and Almsgiving.

First and foremost, our faith practices are rooted in our homes and in our own faith communities.  I encourage you to explore and share the sacraments, community events, and service opportunities of your parish or place of worship.
