Visits begin October 15 and registration for a visit date opens on October 1.

All incoming 9th grade applicants are required to submit a writing sample as part of their English placement at Central Catholic. The writing sample sessions are conducted via Zoom. You are welcome to select one of four possible dates and times to complete this requirement: December 2, 4, 5, or 9 at 4:30 P.M.

IF YOU ARE TAKING THE High School Placement Test AT ANOTHER LOCAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, you do not need to register for a writing session at Central Catholic. A writing assessment is part of the HSPT at that school. Remember to request that your writing sample be sent to Central Catholic upon completion of the test. Once we receive it from another school, we will cross it off your checklist.

For those who register to sit for the writing sample for Central Catholic, a Zoom link will be sent the morning of your registered date. 

Central Catholic does not use the High School Placement Test as part of the admissions process.

Admissions Portal

We want to learn as much as we can about our applicants so that we can provide the most complete and personal educational experience. Family Interviews will be conducted in February of 2025. After you've submitted your admissions application and fee we will communicate with you about how to schedule your family interview through your online account.

The following forms (found in the Admissions Portal) are due January 29:

1. English Teacher Evaluation
2. Math Teacher Evaluation
3. Principal/Counselor Evaluation
4. School Records (report cards from 7th grade and the first semester/trimester of 8th grade)

Evaluation forms will be available through your student application account after December 9.

Merit scholarship applications will be available after October 13 and are due January 10, 2024.

The Central Catholic High School tuition assistance grant is is designed to financially assist students in need from our school. Central Catholic has chosen to use FACTS for its tuition assistance application processing. 

The income and assets of a family are taken into account, as well as family size, extraordinary expenses, number of children attending tuition charging schools (excluding colleges/universities), metropolitan area of residence, number of working parents and the value of parents’ assets. Unusual family tragedy or catastrophes, such as job loss or large medical expense are taken into account. Large “choice debts” will not be taken into account.

Reports prepared by FACTS from information gathered from parents/guardians are used by the Central Catholic Financial Aid Committee to determine tuition assistance awards. Dollar amounts of awards vary, with the largest grants going to families who apply by the deadline and demonstrate the greatest need in a given school year.
