Student Success Team
Central Catholic believes every student can succeed academically with the right support. Our Student Success Team (SST) is a cross-disciplinary group that meets regularly to identify students who are not yet thriving and connect themwith the interventions and care they need to improve their academic outcomes.
The SST uses data, collaboration, and strong relationships to guide its work. Students may be referred by teachers, counselors, or Student Support after initial classroom-level interventions haven't led to significant progress. In addition, any student earning three or more Ds or NGs at the 6, 9, 12, or 15 week grade checkpoints is automatically reviewed by the team.
To support students on their path to success, the SST coordinated a range of services, including:
- Academic Assistance Plan
- After School Study Lounge
- Communication Plans between students, faculty, and families
- Saturday School
Through thoughtful intervention and a whole-student approach, the SST works to ensure each student has the structure, encouragement, and resources necessary to grow and thrive.
