Central Catholic Names New Head Boys' Soccer Coach
June 9, 2021 (Portland, OR) - Central Catholic is excited to welcome Cristian Arntson as our new Head Boys' Soccer Coach.

Cristian graduated from Central Catholic in 2014 and played  on the varsity soccer team. During his four years on the team, Central Catholic Boys' Soccer won the Mt. Hood Conference title all four years and earned a 2nd place finish in state his senior year. After high school, Cristian attended the University of Portland, where he played soccer for three years. During his last year as a Pilot, he turned his attention to coaching and fell in love with the other side of the game. After two years of coaching, he decided to attend the University of Chester (UK) to further his education and have another chance to play at the university level. Unfortunately due to an injury and the COVID-19 pandemic, he was unable to finish the program and returned to Portland. Last year, Cristian joined the Central Catholic coaching staff and made a positive impact in the program. He is excited to continue in his new role as the head coach and says, " I look forward to continuing my work with the Boys' Soccer program to help athletes achieve their full potential as people and soccer players".
