Central Catholic High School’s Constitution Team was named National Champion at the 2025 We the People National Invitational, earning the highest overall score among high schools nationwide. The team also received special recognition for Unit 3 as a top-performing unit. This victory reflects months of preparation and a deep commitment to civic education, as students demonstrated exceptional knowledge of constitutional law in simulated congressional hearings.
Central Catholic junior Amelia Pham ‘26 has embarked on a life-changing adventure: a three-month exchange program at Myojo Gakuen High School in Japan. With support from her family and Japanese teacher Ms. Tokoyoda, Amelia took a bold step outside her comfort zone to immerse herself in a new culture and language. As she navigates life abroad—making new friends, missing the comforts of home, and working to strengthen her Japanese—Amelia is embracing the opportunity with courage, curiosity, and an open heart. The Central Catholic community is proud to support her and looks forward to her return this summer.
Central Catholic is partnering with the Red Cross for our Spring Blood Drive on Friday, April 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the War Memorial Gym. We invite parents, guardians, alumni, and community members to join our students in donating blood. Just one donation can save up to three lives! If you're eligible, we encourage you to participate and help make a difference.
Central Catholic’s National Honor Society is hosting a book drive from April 14 to April 25 to benefit the Children’s Book Bank. They’re collecting a variety of children’s books, including board books, picture books, and chapter books, to support kids in low-income families. Donations can be dropped off in any English classroom. Let’s come together to share the joy of reading and make a positive impact on the community!
On Friday, May 2, we invite all the young women of Central Catholic and their mother figures to the Crowning of Mary and Mother-Daughter Breakfast. The event begins at 8:00 A.M. with a light breakfast, followed by the Crowning of Mary ceremony at 8:30 A.M. in the courtyard. Mass will be celebrated at 8:45 A.M. in the chapel for those who wish to attend. This is a cherished tradition, honoring the special relationships between our students and the women who support them. No cost to attend, but registration is required.
Central Catholic recently hosted its sixth annual Central State of Mind: Faith in Action, a day dedicated to reflection, connection, and service. Students engaged in meaningful conversations and immersive experiences, exploring how small acts of kindness can create lasting change. Guest speakers, including Rev. Mark Knutson, Rebecca Kirk, Frank So, and keynote speaker Helen Darling, inspired students to trust in God’s plan, lead with love, and embrace service as a path to growth.
