Bio:
Born and raised in Springfield, Oregon. Yes, I was a logger and then a Miller!

My most fond memories growing up are those with my friends and teammates. Of course, you always remember the highlights and for me, those were winning the State Track meet and dunking our coach in the steeple pit. Winning two National Cross Country Titles in College and again publicly expressing our thanks to our coach who put us through things we did not want to do to get to the place we wanted to be.

My favorite moments in class are when an individual student or the class as a whole have an "aha" moment- it's just like competing when you are in the flow of competition; the pure joy and adrenaline rush is amazing. To me it is seeing God in our everyday life experiences.

The thing that I appreciate most about Central Catholic High School is the family atmosphere of the school and community. What I appreciate most about my job is the interaction with the students; helping them grow from freshman to seniors and seeing them head out into the world and become vibrant parts of the community. The stories and moments that are shared in the classroom and on the playing field are very special memories!

For fun I love playing with my daughter, running, biking, and working in the yard.
