Bio:
I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Portland to attend Concordia University in 1984 where I completed my Education Degree in 1989. Basketball was one of my passions, playing collegiately at Concordia and also professionally in Germany from 1989-1991. My teaching career started at Northwest Lutheran Middle School, where I taught 6th grade and coached the boy’s basketball team. After being away from the Pacific Northwest for three years, I realized Portland was calling my name. From 1992-1994, I was the women’s basketball coach at Concordia University and an adjunct instructor. I started teaching at Central Catholic in 1995 and taught in the Physical Education and Wellness department.

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Concordia University with a major in Physical Education and minors in Business Administration and Theology

Experience:
Began teaching at Central Catholic in 1995, became the Dean of Students in 1998, and was named Athletic Director in 2013.
