Jonathan Ellis

Bio:
Jonathan was born and raised in Texas, which is where he attended Mansfield Summit High School. He was a sought-after high school football receiver recruited by multiple division one institutions. Jonathan earned a full-ride scholarship to pursue his degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology at Montana State University (MSU). He was a three-year starter at MSU while winning three consecutive Big-Sky Championships and conference honors.
After graduating from MSU, Jonathan took a leap of faith and moved to the PNW, where he obtained an M.Ed. in Special Education and began his coaching career in the Three River League.
Outside Jonathan's time as a coach and educator, he enjoys spending time with his wife (LaShawnta) and dog (Simba). He enjoys golfing, fly-fishing, chess, collecting shoes, and nurturing his plants.
