Erin Dooney

Erin Dooney '15

Teacher

Bio:
I was born and raised in SW Portland and am the fifth of seven kids in a tight-knit Irish Catholic family. I attended Central Catholic '15 and fell in love with learning while I was here; being challenged to grow in my understanding, dig deeper into intellect, and stay curious allowed me to thrive academically. I attended Regis University '18 in Denver, CO and came back to the Northwest for a while before backpacking through Europe for several months. While abroad, I was inspired to dig deeper into the roots of our Christian faith and to actively engage in living it out. I am honored to serve our local Church community through various ministries and to carry on an active outdoor lifestyle in my beautiful hometown.

Education:
Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and French Minor, Regis University; Paralegal Certification, Bryant & Stratton College.

Experience:
I have worked in many different ministry roles, teaching catechesis, working with individuals wrestling with faith, leading retreats, and studying theology through these roles. Prior to starting at Central, I worked as a project manager, paralegal, and in various fundraising and ministry roles.
