Bio:
I am originally from Baker City, Oregon where I grew up in the mountains surrounding the valley. I learned to value being a part of a strong community from my small town upbringing. My favorite moments at Central Catholic have been on retreats. I enjoy seeing students break down their barriers and take off masks to have real conversations with each other about their hopes and fears. Central Catholic is a beautiful community that I feel blessed to be a part of. The caring spirit and generosity of this group of people makes it feel like I am with family rather than doing a job.
I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Portland with a degree in early childhood/elementary education. I taught at St. Stephens Catholic School for 6 years. I started teaching Religion at Central Catholic in 2005. I have since completed a Post Masters degree in Administration. I currently serve as Principal.
