Bio:
After graduating from The American School in Switzerland in 1998, I attended American University in Washington, DC where I majored in Literature and the Washington School of Photography for a professional degree in photography. I moved to Oregon in 2003 and immediately fell in love with the culture of Portland and the easy access to the mountains. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College and my Master of Arts in English at Portland State University. I love being in a classroom as both a student and a teacher and feel that analyzing literature or practicing the art of writing is a luxury. I spend most of my weekends hiking with my dog or skiing Mt. Hood. I feel fortunate to now be a part of the Central Catholic community.
