Bio:
I grew up in NE Portland, attended St. Rose grade school and was able to achieve my dream of being a Ram as Central Catholic went coed the year before I entered high school. I was in the third class to graduate girls and have a lot of fond memories of my time here at Central Catholic as a student. I returned here as a teacher in the fall of 2001 and have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the science department, girls' basketball program, and Campus Ministry team.

Previous to Central Catholic I taught middle school science in Tacoma at St. Patrick Elementary School. I think what sets Central Catholic apart from other Catholic high schools is the community. We have strong academics and plenty of extra-curricular activities for students to be involved in, but when it comes right down to it people here care- a lot. I love being in a place where I can talk about God in the context of what I am teaching. I love doing service projects with students that stretch our comfort zones and help us learn about our world and ourselves. I am so excited to be a part of the RAMS program and look forward to helping our students and faculty learn grow as an inclusive community.
