Old School GroovesStudents Sing Lead at CCHS Auction
An emerging tradition at Central Catholic is the entertainment at the President's Dinner and Auction [April 28 in 2007] and Alumni and Friends Weekend [August 4 in 2007]. The 2004 Auction featured two students singing lead vocals on a Van Morrison gospel-rock classic - Whenever God Shines His Light. Since 2004, the tradition has expanded to a 2-hour rock and soul review immediately following the 2007 Live Auction and including 29 student vocalists, 5 alumni mentor singers and a handful of student instrumentalists.
