Central Catholic Students Visit Young Spanish Students at Our Lady of the Lake
Ms. McGilchrist’s Spanish II traveled to Our Lady of the Lake to share stories with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, grade Spanish classes. Spanish II students retold fairytales and wrote original stories in Spanish as a project with the end goal of sharing the stories with younger students. Before visiting and sharing the stories, each Central Catholic student corresponded with a student from Our Lady of the Lake through a regular pen pal exchange that began in January. The classes also sang songs to each other and shared laughs and high fives before returning to Central Catholic.
