Jeff Coleman '85 (pictured right) is happily married and having a ball enjoying his two daughters, Peyton, 2 ½, and Kaylee, 3 months. Currently he is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Ensequence, Inc., a small company in downtown Portland. He has remained an Oregon resident for all but two of his 39 years, with the exception of a temporary job in California after college. Still local and enjoying life with his family!
Angela (Navarra) Schafroth '85 moved to Scottsdale, AZ in June 2005. Angie has been with State Farm for 11 years. Her husband, Brian, recently started a career with Wells Fargo as a credit analyst. They have two sons, Charlie, age 5, and Frank, age 3.

Ericka (Foster) Beasley '88 (pictured left) lives just outside of Chicago, IL. She has been married for 7 years and has "two gorgeous daughters," ages 5 and 2. Ericka works for Coca-Cola and her husband is an attorney with Abbott.
Ryan Keser '89 recently moved from Hood River, OR to Boston, MA. He is in his 14th year of teaching upper elementary school. He's working on an MA in Education and enjoying New England.
Tom ’84 and Libby McGee live in New England. They like it so much that Tom took a new job with Speedo and commutes to L.A. The McGees have three kids: Macie (5), Gus (4), and Miles (1).
Chris Johnston ’85 wrote, “After close to 20 years in Public Relations and politics, I am making a career change. Currently, I am attending nursing school at Hartnell College in Salinas, CA. My wife, Jenn, teaches sixth and seventh graders at Most Holy Trinity in San Jose, CA. Living just a mile from the beach we’d like to do more kayaking, but for both of us school takes just too much time right now.”
Patrice Altenhofen ’86 was recently named President of the Cascade Employers Association.
Jenna (Schuster) Bass ’89 wrote: “My husband, John, and I had a girl, Olivia Mae, on February 14, 2005. She joins her big sister, Claire, age four. Olivia’s godfather is cousin Brad Evenhus, class of 1994.”
Ben Colson ‘84 lives in Vancouver, WA and has been married for 10 years. He graduated from Washington State University in 1989 and received a Masters in Teaching from Grand Canyon University in 2003. He has been teaching school for 12 years, most recently at Shahala Middle School in Vancouver, WA.
John Eperjesi ’86 received his Ph.D in English from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000, where he has been teaching courses in American and Asian American literature. His book, The Imperialist Imaginary: Visions of Asia and the Pacific in American Culture, was recently published by the University Press of New England (2005). This winter he will begin teaching in the English Department at Portland State University.
Matthew Tellado ’87 has been married for 18 years and has 7 children and 1 on the way. His family lives in Blue Springs, Missouri near Kansas City. College degrees in Computer Programming and Business enable him to design software systems for his employer – the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Christine (Stewart) Rockey ’88 and her husband, Don, welcomed a new baby boy, Britton John, on December 29, 2005. He joins big brother, Trey, 2 at home. Christine is living near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and teaching at Coastal Carolina University.
Nancy Clark Mason ’89 writes: I had my third child, a boy, Nicholas Charles Mason on June 8, 2005. He joins Samantha, age 6 and Abigail, age 4½. We moved to Arizona because of my husband’s job transfer. I was working as Special Events Coordinator for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho.
