Volunteer Registration General Information
- Everyone must complete the Volunteer Background Check form and be issued an “active” volunteer card from the Archdiocese every three years. You DO NOT need to fill out another volunteer background check form for any other location until this card expires. All volunteers (whether they work with minors four or more times a year or not), must review the Archdiocese Code of Conduct, acknowledge having read it, and agree to comply with it.
- Click here to download the Volunteer Background Check form and click here to download the Code of Conduct form, and return the completed forms to Kathy Calhoun at Central Catholic High School. Additional information can be found by clicking here
- Volunteers working in the classrooms or involved with students through activities/athletics on a regular basis, must complete the Called to Protect training. Volunteers are only required to attend the Called to Protect training once. If you need to complete the Called to Protect training, please visit the following website to find dates and places where the training will be held in the near future: www.archdpdx.org/cpo/
- Once a year volunteers need to complete an on-line Armatus course. The course for 2010-11 is a fifteen minute interactive video called – It Happened to Me. Log-on to www.praesidiuminc.com and click on “Armatus Training New!” Your login is the first initial of your first name and your full last name. Your password is the four numerical digits of your birthday, followed by your state abbreviation. Example: If your birthdate is March 26, the password would be 0326OR.
- Parents coming to Central Catholic High School to volunteer in the Development Office and/or helping staff members do NOT need the Called to Protect training or the on-line Armatus course, but must log-on to www.praesidiuminc.com to read and acknowledge the Archdiocese Code of Conduct.
Thank you!
