Mark you calendar now so your family won’t miss the Father-Daughter Dinner Dance or the Mother-Son Brunch—these are truly special, memorable events for all attendees.
Grants
Annually the Parent Association awards Grants to teachers, advisors, and counselors within our school to help benefit students in the school environment and enhance their learning experience in our community. The PAB selects grants from internal applications to touch a diverse range of students not supported by other groups (athletics, RAM Boosters, etc.) In the past year the Parent Association provided the funds to purchase graphing calculators for the math department, a sound system for the technology lab, digital camera for the yearbook and newspaper, video camera for activities, equipment for the drum line, college planning software for the college counselor/department, special molecular biology supplies, sweatshirts for all freshmen attending e “get acquainted” event, Senior All-Night Party funding, and more. This is very rewarding—we welcome you to get involved.
Come, meet, and get involved with your Parent Association! We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Learn what is ing on at school, what is ahead, and how you can help. We welcome your input and new perspective. Go RAMS!
Parent Mentor Program
Central Catholic values the role of parents in the lives of their children, and believes that the school, the parents, and the student all need to work together to make high school a successful experience for the entire family. Parent mentors are an integral part of the Central Catholic recruitment and retention plan. They make early contact with prospective parents and help guide them through their first year. If you are interested in more information or to make a connection with a Parent Mentor, please contact the Counseling Office.
