Camp Staff
Rick Lorenz- Head Coach at Central Catholic High School, 32 years experience as a varsity head coach, 29 years experience as clinic director, and head administrator for Rose City Volleyball Club (USVBA).
Malcolm Doi- Former head Coach at St. Mary's Academy. He took the Blues to a second place finish in 1997. Has run a volleyball speed camp locally the past 17 years. Central Catholic JV coach for 10 years and USVBA coach the past 29 years. His '99 Rose City 16's finished 5th at the Volleyball Festival. His 18's Rose City team was 2002 Regional Champions. He has been technical director at all levels the last four years.
2008 Camp staff also includes: Joe Rivelli, Julie Taylor and several college and varsity players.
Camp Description

Designed specifically for players in the 7th and 8th grade to prepare them for their Freshman year.
Specialized instruction in the Volleyball skill areas.
Video tape skill analysis.
8-to-1 player-coach ratio.
Excellent environment conducive to allowing the athlete to learn and experiment.
Experienced staff ready to help motivate the athlete to reach their potential.
1 1/2 hour scrimmage per day.
Motivational talks included.
Goal setting sessions, both individual and team related.
A practice tank top will be given to all players.

The cost of the camp is $125. Please click on the link below, fill out the registration form, and mail it to Central Catholic High School , c/o Rick Lorenz, 2401 SE Stark St., Portland, OR 97214. Your cancelled check is confirmation that you are registered and in the camp.
