2008 Ram Boys Soccer Academy

for Grades 7 through 12

Logistics

  • The Academy will be held on the Central Catholic Harrington Field at 2401 SE Stark.
  • The Academy will be held Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30AM to 9:00AM, July 8 – August 7.
  • Please bring a ball, shin guards and running shoes to the Academy.

Camp Staff

Steve Ancheta - Steve has been Head Coach for the CCHS boys soccer program the last three years. In the fall of 2007 Coach Steve's CCHS Boy's soccer team was the Oregon 6A High School State Champion. Steve played college soccer for both Warner Pacific University and Oregon State University. He has coached in the local area since 1995 as a member of the FC Portland Coaching staff, on the Region IV staff, and as Barlow Boy's Varsity Coach from 1999-2002. His varied experience provides an excellent background for developing the skills and techniques of players attending the Academy.

Camp Description

The Ram Soccer Academy is designed for 2008-2009 seventh graders through seniors who are currently playing or who desire to play high school soccer.  The academy is designed to provide training in both soccer technique and tactics for players who are committed to improving their game.

Benefits of the RAM SOCCER ACADEMY :

  • The Academy provides instruction and training over a 5 week period on the technical and tactical principles of the game .

  • Players receive training from the Rams Coaching Staff, specifically geared towards the Ram style of play.

  • Players receive fitness training that will help them prepare for the fall season

Registration and Fees

The cost for the Academy is $75 for all sessions, or $10 per session.  To get the greatest benefit from the training, attendance at all sessions is recommended.
