BOYS SOCCER

A Message from the Coach

It may seem funny to some, but my approach to soccer doesn't have too much to do with soccer at all.  I was fortunate to learn about the game through the late Clive Charles and have worked very hard over the years to simply use the game, as Clive did, to teach much larger life lessons.

Above all, I try to model respect and instill that ethic in all of our players - respect for self, respect for others and to respect the game of soccer for all it can offer.

Of course, this philosophy also leads to the players trusting their team-mates, their coaches and themselves.  And this level of 'trust' leads to more wins than losses.  We're proud of our achievements - we are proud of 'how' we earned our record.

High school soccer is a 4-year journey.  At the end of it all, I think our boys are better people!

2007 Mt. Hood Conference Champions

The Rams won the Mt. Hood Conference with a record of 13-0-1. The only blemish on the Ram's record was a 3-3 tie against Hood River on September 25 in a game played at Hood River. Going into the rematch on Tuesday October 18 both teams were undefeated with only the September tie marring their respective records. In a game that determined the Conference title the Rams were very strong and prevailed 4-1.
