French Club
Vive La France! 
Forty students meet twice monthly to appreciate French culture, discuss language, and just have a good time together.
The French Club sponsors a variety of activities such as fencing demonstrations, French cuisine cooking classes, visits to the Portland Art Museum, caroling at Providence Hospital at Christmas, visiting French restaurants around the Portland area, and French karaoke. Student leaders are also working hard to implement a tournament of Boules—otherwise known as Bocce Ball—on campus.

Upcoming Events
Thursday, November 2
Members of the French Club will have the opportunity to attend the Portland Opera's production of Faust. The opera will be sung in French with projected English translations. Truth and Transformation are the themes of the story of Marguerite whose agony is transformed into salvation. Students will also go to a French bistro during their night dedicated to the appreciation of French culture. |
