Technology/Business Department
Mission:
The mission of theTechnology/Business Department is to build a solid foundation in technology skills and business principles that will prepare the student for post-secondary study, entry-level business careers, or general knowledge in adherence with the mission of Central Catholic High School.
Vision:
Central Catholic graduates are able to utilize technology effectively to support instruction or other professional activities; access, analyze and incorporate data in program assessment; enhance professional growth and productivity; communicate and collaborate with teachers, students, parents and/or other outside agencies; and conduct research, and solve problems.
School-wide Technology Goals for students:
Central Catholic graduates will demonstrate the responsible use of technology systems, information and software.
 Central Catholic graduates will be proficieint in the use of technology that supports lifelong learning, increases productivity, promotes creativity and enhances adaptability to future technological developments.
Central Catholic graduates will effectively use technology to loate, evaluate and collect information from a variety of sources and to communicate effectively to multiple audiences through various media formats
Central Catholic graduates will employ technology in the development of strategies for solving problems and making informed decisions.
Technology/Business Department Goals for students:
Students will have a working knowledge of emerging workplace technology.
Students will be able to integrate technology into their everyday lives.
Students will become proficient at using technology for research.
