Brochures, pamphlets and registration forms on some of the following programs can be found in the College Counseling Office. Many of these programs are expensive but most offer limited grants and tuition breaks. Central Catholic is providing this information as it is received to its students and families as a service and cannot endorse or verify claims made in the brochures. The student assumes responsibility for the value of the experience. We are still working on updating this data and have indicated which programs have been updated thus far.

AMERICAN YOUTH FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES
The AYF is a national, not-for-profit organization founded by William H. Danforth that develops leadership in young people and the adults and institutions that serve them. The Leadership Conference is a one-week gathering of young adults from most states and numerous countries to enhance capacities for leadership and service. Brown University offers short-term and intensive Focus classes to show students what it means to be completely absorbed in the learning process. As part of the learning process, students may shadow a physician, perform Shakespeare, engineer a new product, or analyze their own DNA. All courses are non-credit, and designed to help students’ focus on learning and the process of scholarship, not their final grade.
